The Festival

What is the International Pentecost Youth Festival — overview, programme, practical info.

Four days, ten thousand voices for peace, solidarity and a future beyond capitalism.

What is the PJT?

The International Pentecost Youth Festival (Internationales Pfingstjugendtreffen, PJT) is a self-organised festival of international youth solidarity. Every two years it brings together young people from across Europe and the world for music, sports, workshops, debates and a joint demonstration — explicitly free from sexism, racism, drugs and alcohol abuse.

What’s on?

  • Stage — bands and artists from many countries, song contest, opening event.
  • Spiele ohne Grenzen (“Games without borders”) — large team sport tournament.
  • Football tournament — open mixed teams.
  • Workshops — politics, art, self-defence, climate, anti-fascism, internationalism.
  • Future demonstration — joint march on Saturday.
